*sigh* i wish i could find a good site for anime layouts aside from digik. not that i don't like this new, periwinkle kamui one, but i'd really prefer something darker, more morose-looking. that's more of my personality.
x/1999, angel sanctuary... those anime are pretty dark and i wouldn't mind having them as a layout, but this one, though it is X/1999... well, it doesn't really depict the morbidity of the story.

i am such a dunce at html it annoys me. i can edit layouts and shit but i can't seem to pull off/find the time to make my own layout. the ones i try making end up looking too gaudy or too plain. >_<;

i wish i had some help with this...

i got a new layout for my LiveJournal! ok... it's a bit amateurish because I made it myself, but yay! it's not mundanely solid anymore...

As for the sibling rivalry thing, I was talking to a friend of mine earlier about how bitchy her sister was. It reminded me of all the sibling woes my other friends have shared with me.

I, myself, have siblings - 2 of them, in fact, both brothers - but somehow we don't argue a lot. In fact, not to brag, we get along great.

One friend has 2 siblings - a boy and a girl, both younger (but both double-digits already). She and the girl have not talked for months, and she and the boy argue almost every day over trivial things.

One friend has 1 sibling - a guy, who she is so annoyed with because he hogs everything and likes throwing his weight as the "older one" around.

One friend has 4 siblings - 3 girls and a guy (she's the youngest). according to my friend, the 2 older sisters are never home, the guy is a slob and they sometimes don't get along. the last remaining sister is a bitchy hypocrite.

An online acquaintance of mine often complains that her siblings are "evil" to her. not a day goes by without them pushing her around or arguing with her.

The list goes on.

I know I can't really judge them because I get along with my own brothers, but I honestly don't get why other siblings are like that. I don't get why they go out of their way to annoy each other, when they can get along if they wanted to. My brothers and I (one bro's 6 years older than me, the other is 6 years younger) get along pretty well at home. we split our computer, phone and TV time to be fair, and we avoid squabbling a much as possible.

ahhh... whatever. random thoughts.
